THE BIG BOOK OF SONGS BY NUMBER
The main difference between PIANO IS EASY and THE BIG BOOK OF SONGS is that THE BIG BOOK contains songs which make use of the black AND white keys, whereas PIANO IS EASY has songs on the white keys only. This follows accepted piano curriculm where beginning lessons always start with the white keys alone to avoid confusion.
In addition, THE BIG BOOK contains chord symbols (chords are groups of three keys played with the left hand) so that you can begin playing with both hands. You can leave out the chords until you are ready to try them.
If you're like most kids starting piano, you'll want to play with both hands and find the black keys once you've gotten used to songs that use only the white keys.
After you've gotten started with either PIANO IS EASY or THE CHRISTMAS CAROL KIT, you'll want more fun songs to play, too.
